About Trust

Today, what is shown in the image is synonymous with a great theatre experience for the esteem and knowledgeable audience of Western Suburbs. Aspee auditorium like any other monuments in City of Mumbai, has a pious background.

➤ Looking Back :

The property is situated at strategic location on busy Marve Road Malad West Mumbai 400064. This open land has been the " Yatra-sthal"on which pious SaintPujyapad Shri DongrejiMaharaj has narrated the epic of Shrimad Bhagwat 5 times and was very positively responded by devotees.

The Laxminarayan Charitable Trust as well as Vaikunth Charitable Trust whose board of trustees are high profile reputed industrialist, entrepreneurs and professionals, were inspired to put up Lord Laxminarayan's Temple. The temple has been a place of pilgrimage for devotees of Western Suburbs.

Continuing with the glorious traditions, the trustees were determined to use the balance land for great social cause of creating awareness towards religious and cultural activities. Thus, the land became instrumental for great theatrical experience of Aspee Auditorium, and also a Community Hall at 1st floor known as Matushri Pushpaben Dhirajlal Khakhar Banquet Hall, to serve the people of Western Suburbs.

As the construction of the Auditorium was in full progress and desire of the Trustees was to make a state-of-the-art theatre /auditorium to encourage various cultural, social and religious activities. Finally the state of art auditorium was completed and inauguration of same was done by the hands of a Member of Parliament, an eminent actress and renown dancer HemaMalinijee on 20th September 2015.

The auditorium now has been appreciated by artists, performers and people from different walks of life as between Vile Parle and Borivali, there was vacuum for such activities due to lack of proper auditorium.
